Originally from the Bay Area, Rana began her creative career in junior high with BTC, a youth musical theater company that became her home away from home. She went on to graduate with honors from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Rana has been teaching since 2008, and was ecstatic to find Music Together^® in 2016. She coaches actors, singers, dancers and musicians, teaches performing arts classes, and directs youth productions and adult theatre.  Oh, and she's also the director of Music Together Tamalpais :D

Rana feels that introducing young children to music is of the utmost importance to the future of the planet, and to each individual's growth and well-being. 

Rana is a registered Music Together and Canta y Baila Conmigo^® teacher, and was awarded Certification Level 1 Music Together® in 2019 for outstanding achievement in teaching and articulation of the program.

Spencer Evans is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter who believes in the power of music.  He’s been singing and playing guitar since he was 12… and that’s a long time!  Spencer received his degree in Theatre Arts from UCSC, where he focused on music, dance and storytelling in performance. 

Over the years, he has picked up piano, ukulele, mandolin and (is currently working on) violin. 

Spencer is a Registered Music Together Teacher
